Accompaniment services

What are accompaniment services?

Not only does Northeast Professional Caregivers provide high-quality, in-home personal care, homemaking services, and activities of daily living (ADL) support to our clients, we also empower our clients further by providing companionship and accompaniment outside of your home, so you can access the ongoing care and services you need in your community and continue to more fully participate in life.

If you or a loved one need support in travelling to medical appointments, religious services, or other community activities, or need assistance with grocery shopping, filling prescriptions, and other errands, or would simply enjoy some companionship and conversation, our courteous and compassionate caregivers can arrange appointments, escort or accompany you on outings, and keep you more socially active in your community.

Our staff works with you and your family to determine the kinds of non-medical services you most need and desire in order to maintain your independence, social connections, and remain an active participant in life outside of your home.

Your caregiver can serve as an accompaniment or companion as little or often as needed, and caregivers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
